NOTES FOR SUMMIT DELEGATES
Delegate liability for Value Added Tax (VAT)
All Summit delegates are liable to pay value added tax (VAT) at the standard rate of 25% in Sweden. This VAT is due to be added to every delegate fee and dinner ticket irrespective of where the customer is based.
Claiming VAT refunds
VAT refunds for EU business delegates – delegates attending from any EU country are able to recover the Swedish VAT charged on delegate fees through what is known as the 8th EU Directive.
Delegates can arrange this by submitting a claim through their local VAT office.
Delegates attending from businesses established outside the EU can recover Swedish VAT under the EU 13th Directive. Delegates should enquire through their local VAT office to determine the procedures involved.
Private individuals registering for the summit will not be entitled to reclaim this VAT via the Swedish authorities and should contact their local tax office to enquire about any possible refund.

What is included in the delegate fee?
- 2 conference days: 3 and 4 June
- International Trade Show with complimentary drinks on the evening of Tuesday 2 June.
- Welcome drinks reception from 6.30pm on Wednesday 3 June.
- Lunch and refreshments on 3 and 4 June.
- AMEC Awards 2015 and Summit Dinner on Thursday 4 June.
- Access to speaker presentations accessible via a password protected internet site. Presentations will be available to download after the event, subject to speaker disclosure.
What is included in the AMEC Awards 2015 and Summit Dinner?
- Welcome drinks reception.
- Transport from the Hilton Stockholm Slussen to the Awards and Dinner venue.
- Three course dinner with wine and water.
- AMEC Awards 2015 ceremony.
- Opportunity to continue the evening at the post-awards drinks reception.
- Transport back to the Stockholm Hilton Slussen.
Group bookings
To encourage group bookings, there is a 10% discount on a booking for five or more of the same delegate fee. This discount will apply to the end of the registration process.
